Reserve 123 offers shopping tours? What?! That’s right. Your dreams have come true. We know that any woman (or a fairly confident man) will say that he or she doesn’t need a tour guide to show them how to shop. However, your mind will be changed on this special tour through the Windy City, where you will not only get VIP treatment, but also get to look like a cool in-the-know local in the process.

One of the coolest things about our Bucktown & Wickerpark Shopping Tour in Chicago is that it’s not your typical tour. You won’t have a flock of people in Hawaiian shirts and sun visors. It’s a tour that shows you all of the well-known and local secrets that Chi-town really has to offer, and the little quirks you would miss without a guide. Put your map away and make life easy for yourself with a savvy local Chicago guide, which means more fabulous shopping time for you, and less time looking baffled with a map on the sidewalk.

Your new best friend (guide) will walk you around Bucktown and Wickerpark to visit all the hard-to-find boutiques. You’ll also be able to visit local chocolate shops and coffee houses to see where real Chicagoans hang out and be one of them. You’ll also get shopping discounts (10%-25% of all boutiques), feeling-like-a-million-bucks champagne toasts, and sample sales. Yup, sample sales – which means dresses that you thought you could never afford, can now be in your closet. Rule.

Some things that are good to know:

  • A walking tour to boutiques exclusive to Chicago.
  • Requires 2 people, which means it’s made for you and your BFF!
  • It can be a 2 hour tour to a 3.5 or 4 hour tour.
  • Neighborhood Trivia!
  • Delicious treats from local cafes (optional and not included in the cost of tour)
  • Shopping for something specific? Tell us in advance and we’ll see what we can do!

Scenic Trips Around Orlando

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

Orlando, Florida is not just the home of Disney World.  There is plenty more on offer in this “City Beautiful.”  Resorts and area theme parks – like Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld – are only a few of the attractive options available to you on your trip.

For a general overview of the city that is more than just typical, take the Orlando City Tour.  Journey around Lake Eola, which is a small lake that is actually a sinkhole extending to 80 feet deep.  It is famous for its fountain, which changes colors at night for a beautiful display and during the day looks like a UFO that landed on the water.  Then you will venture into the heart of downtown Orlando, including a visit to the town of Celebration, which is connected directly to Walt Disney World.  The town is filled with little shops and diners and has a great small town charm.

Another stop on your trip will be to the town of Winter Park, where you will hop on board for a scenic cruise.  Winter Park was designed as a resort destination and was the first centrally planned community in Florida.    Thousands of visitors come to the town each year for its numerous festivals including the Beach Festival and the Winter Park Concours d’Elegance.  The cruise ties the tour together nicely, and it is a great chance to just pause and take it all in.

If you would like to see everything from above, take a hot air balloon ride.  The aerial views are amazing and as an extra added bonus, there is a champagne toast and full buffet breakfast included.  You will be briefed before the hour-long flight, which will begin at 6:00 am.  Your exact path will be determined by the wind patterns on the day, and you may ascend up to several thousand feet in the air.

Come and visit Orlando, a city full of excitement and magic.  For more ideas on how to spend your time in the area, check out www.orlandotours.net.

Visit the “City Always Turned On”

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Atlantic City, otherwise known as “The World’s Playground,” “the Queen of Resorts” and a “City Always Turned On,” is a perfect place to spend your vacation.  It is full of fun activities and attractions and like the motto says, it is always turned on, meaning there is always something to do!

Atlantic City Tours can help provide you with a vacation of a lifetime.  There are a variety of tours and exciting attractions waiting at your feet including trolley and boat tours as well as dolphin watching and wineries.

On the Trolley Tour of Atlantic City, you will take a narrated trip to some of the most famous sites in the city.  This includes the Absecon Lighthouse and Atlantic City Aquarium.  The guide will tell you all about the city’s history long before the casinos took over.  A spectacular stop along the way is at the legendary Lucy the Margate Elephant.  She is a 60-foot high, 90-ton wood and tin elephant overlooking the sea.  It is one of the most popular tourist sites and is a true sight to one’s eyes!

If you are looking for a fun day in Atlantic City, try out the Winery & Shopping Tour by Trolley.  The trolley will take you to Renault Winery, an absolutely stunning resort.  You will be delighted and engaged throughout the tour where you will see their priceless wine and champagne glass collection also learning the history of the winery and its founder.  You will also take a stroll through the European Courtyard, view antique winemaking equipment, and see where the wine is actually made and stored.  The tour is not complete without sampling their award winning wine and champagne collections.  After the charming tour of the winery, it is onto a fun afternoon of exploring the shops at the Noyes Museum and the historic Towne of Smithville.

The Dolphin Watching Cruise is perfect if you are looking for time out on the water.  It is great for all ages so if you have kids, they will be thrilled!  Throughout the trip you will spot leaping dolphins and splashing whales in the open ocean water.  A marine naturalist on board can help educate you about the waters you are drifting on and the ocean life you will see.  Your cruise includes beverages, snacks, disposable cameras (just in case you forget your own), souvenir photos and a lifetime of fantastic memories.

Atlantic City is more than just hotels and casinos so when you tire from that scene, or are just looking for a fun place to spend some time, visit www.atlanticcitytours.net to reserve your vacation fun today!

Tours of Sonoma

Friday, October 10th, 2008

Take a romantic Balloon Ride in the Wine Country as you and your loved one sail over Sonoma in a colorful and spacious hot air balloon.  The path is somewhat determined by the weather and wind patterns but you can expect to have a scenic journey through Sonoma Valley featuring exquisite views of the Pacific Ocean, aerial views of several area wineries, and possibly even the San Francisco skyline located about 60 miles away.  On the trip you can inflate the balloon early in the morning and are up in the air at sunrise.  You will arrive back on the ground in about an hour and be greeted with a wonderful champagne brunch.  Along the way you will also get to hear about some of the history of hot air balloon flight and receive flight certificates and a pin to commemorate the occasion.

For a comprehensive tour of Napa and Sonoma, you can also take an Antique Limousine Tour, suitable for 6 to 8 passengers, and design your own itinerary to fit your interests and budget.  There are hundreds of wineries in Sonoma and Napa, and you will get the chance to do tastings and tours at three of them.  This is a fantastic way to spend the day whether for a special occasion or a normal outing, since you can tour the countryside with your closest friends and loved ones in the privacy of a beautiful, fully-equipped limousine.

Those who wish to also visit the casino while in the area can take advantage of the Grapes & Games Tour by Jeep from San Francisco.  This tour covers up to 6 wineries and a trip to the River Rock Casino.   Lasting about 9 hours, this is a can’t-miss tour for wine connoisseurs and those who are feeling a little lucky.  Roll the dice on this tour and you will be glad you did!

Family Fun in the Florida Keys

Monday, October 6th, 2008

If you are looking for a vacation spot with sun, sand and surf complete with complete relaxation, fun activities and fantastic scenery then look no more!  A trip to the Florida Keys is just what you need!  Florida Keys Tours can make your dream vacation come true as there are loads of tours, activities and attraction tickets are at your disposal.

On the Glass Bottom Boat Discovery tour, you will see up-close the magnificent diverse underwater world.  The vibrant coral reef, stunning exotic fish and hundreds of varieties of aquatic life is just under your feet.  During your cruise along the smooth waters, you will be treated to complimentary champagne or soft drinks along with cheese a crackers.  Your evening will be complete with the breathtaking sunset reflecting off the waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

For this different kind of Florida Keys fun, you can take part in the Ghostly Legends of Key West Tour.  You can engage yourself in a different aspect of the keys with a stroll through the dim and gloomy streets of Old Town, Key West where the real estate dates back to the Kings of Spain.

Your ghost tour makes stop at the Audubon House, the old city morgue, the Marrero House where the spirit of Enriquetta lives, St. Paul’s Cemetery, the Otto Mansion where you may discover the real “Chucky,” and other hidden spots that only a local can show you.  You will hear tales of the haunted Victorian mansions, learn the legends of pirates, and wonder about ancient local voodoo.  This tour will show you all the peculiar and eerie parts of Key West, something that cannot be missed!

While visiting the Keys, one thing that you absolutely must do is ride the crystal clear waters on a high speed Jetski.  The Key West Jetski Tours will circle around stunning Key West.  You will spot porpoises, rays, fish, and maybe even a shark or two.  Halfway through the tour, you will take a rest and stop for a swim in the pristine waters.  You will be able to search for shells and sand dollars in the nearby sandbar or swim after the many tropical fish.   The guides will take you to places that you can’t see from the shore and the only way to find out about them is to take the tour yourself!

Florida Keys Tours also provides you with the opportunity to rent Jetskis on your own so you can explore the area at your own pace.  We offer SeaDoo and Yamaha four-stroke Jetskis that can reach the speed of 50 mph.  Your Jetski will hold two adults or one adult with two children so the whole family can ride!

If you are looking for fun and affordable transportation then try out the Key West Boat Shuttles.  They depart from Fort Myers, Marco Island, Miami, and of course, Key West.  The boat shuttles offer a fun, fast and affordable way to get to where you want to go, while providing you with some excellent scenery along the way.  Each vessel is complete with heating and air conditioning, gift shop, café, large flat screen satellite televisions, state-of-the-art electronics, indoor and outdoor seating, bar and information desk to get all your questions answered.  Remember, getting there is only half the fun!
