The Segway PT might just be the most underrated form of transportation in existence today. It runs on a battery, so there’s no need to worry about filling up a gas tank or keeping your carbon footprint in check. It balances itself using computers and motors, so you won’t fall off while riding around, and it keeps you moving at the perfect pace (roughly 12 miles per hour).

Still, when people visit a new city, most opt for a bus tour. Those who enjoy the open air might try a bike or walking tour, but the Segway tours are often overlooked. Well, we’d like to change that. Here are three simple reasons to try a Segway tour. (more…)

5 Tips to Avoid Altitude Sickness on Your Ski Trip

Thursday, January 9th, 2014

altitude sicknessThe dust from the holidays has finally settled. Everyone is getting the most use out of their favorite gifts, the tree has been stripped and tossed and the new health routines are (not?) being broken. We’re also starting to remember the realities of winter weather, unless of course you have a vacation around the corner. In which case, all dietary bets are off. Take advantage of those all-you-can-eat dining options on your cruise, or ride down to the beach and enjoy the most decadent seafood available. If you’re planning a trip to the mountains, seize the chance to have some hot and piping comfort meals to keep you warm.

Vacations are meant to be fully enjoyed, and your ski or snowboarding trip is no exception, despite the freezing temperatures and uncomfortably high altitudes. Altitude sickness can attack even the healthiest individuals, and even if you’re just planning a relaxing weekend at a mile-high cabin, you’ll want to take the proper precautions to ensure you body stays in tip-top shape. Here are a few tips. (more…)

Friday, November 15th, 2013

cloud icon with design on blue sky backgroundAnyone who has ever been on a trip to anywhere probably knows that when you travel, things don’t always go as planned. Luggage gets lost, flights get delayed, taxi cab drivers render you helpless and afraid for your life, and once in a blue moon, the United States Government shuts down.

Every Reserve123 Team member is dedicated to ensuring the arrangements we make for our customers go off without a hitch, and if there is some sort of mishap, we work our best to correct the issue and get things back on track. Unfortunately, we couldn’t quite correct the Government Shutdown issue (although, many of us likely had downright brilliant ideas regarding a resolution), so closures and cancellations began to affect our customers’ reservations.

To our delight, we were able to help one of our groups make the most of their trip, despite the ongoing fiasco in our nation’s capitol. (more…)
