END IT Movement

If you haven’t figured it out by now, we love all things travel-related at Reserve123.

Every city has its own mystical and unique atmosphere, and each trip you take has the potential to open your eyes to a different side of life. Whether you’re taking a ride a couple hours away or venturing across the globe, there’s always a chance for new experiences. Sure, different cultures tend to clash sometimes, but it’s a hauntingly beautiful affair when we manage buy cheap viagra online to… blend.

In general, we’re inclined to get caught up in that affair and look past, ignore and/or avoid the unsightly aspects. As tourists we’re advised to stay away from the rougher parts of the town they visit, we usually seek out nicer restaurants for dinner, and for the most part, we play it safe – with good reason! Most destinations have a mix of bitter and sweet, but when we take a vacation, we want all the sweet stuff.

That being said, the END IT movement is looking to shine a light on the bitter side: modern-day slavery. Also known as human trafficking, forced servitude is still very much alive all over the world. For those of you who respond well to numbers, they’ve estimated that 27 million men, women and children, in 161 countries (including the United States of America), are currently in this situation. There are more slaves laboring now than at “any time in recorded history.”

Their statement:

You know it. We know it. As a country, we’ve officially known it since 1863. But here’s something you might not know — Slavery still exists. We want every man, woman and child to know that there are 27 million men, women and children, just like them, living in the shadows. In brothels. In factories. In Quarries. Working as slaves. In 161 countries. Including our own. We are here to shine a light on slavery. No more bondage. No more sex trafficking. No more child laborers. No more, starting now.

While you’re planning your trip to that beautiful destination in Southeast Asia, West Africa, North America or wherever, why not take a minute to help stop the madness. Taking a stand is as simple as entering your email address – a digital signature. You don’t have to give money to end it, just your voice!

You can find more info and make a (non-monetary) pledge on their website, here, and you can read more about the industry as a whole here.

We’re in it to END IT! Are you?
