Arizona Adventures on an ATV

If you are looking for a unique way to explore the rough and tough Phoenix terrain, consider taking an ATV tour.  ATVs, or All Terrain Vehicles, allow you to more easily navigate the various types of land area that you will encounter on your travels in Arizona.
The ATV Adventure of Box Canyon, which departs from Phoenix, gives you a closer look at the desert spread out over a four hour period.  You will take a ride through the impressive 10 foot wide “slot canyon,” whose walls reach up to 100 feet in most places.  You will also check out some gold and silver mining camps and ghost towns that were abandoned back in the 1800s.  Being exposed to all of these natural wonders is a treat in itself, but exploring on an ATV really takes the experience to the next level.

Another tour that is sure to please the adventurer is the Sonoran Desert Tomcar Tour.  The Tomcars, which were designed for use by the Israeli Defense Forces Special Operations Unit, are simple to drive and require only 10 minutes of instruction before you are ready to get up and go! Once you are on your way, you will get the chance to visit gold and turquoise mines, an Indian ruin, an abandoned ghost town and a river crossing.  This journey, which begins in New River, Arizona, lasts for four hours and is appropriate for ages 18 and up.

You will not leave the tour empty-handed.  At the conclusion of your tour, you will receive a free bandana and a picture of your group loaded onto a CD.  Those who wish can also purchase a video of the trip at an additional cost.

Phoenix and the surrounding area are packed with exciting activities like this one, so visit www.PhoenixTours.us for more information and to proceed with booking.
